Bitcoin Trade Levels and the Tesla Breakout: James G's 28 October Plan
Key takeaways
- James took a small Bitcoin profit early and said he prefers banking gains while the Iran headlines are unresolved.
- His new Bitcoin long sits at the 79,200 support with a target at the 86,600 resistance, about 15 times the risk. Safer orders wait at 77,000 and 75,000.
- Tesla is breaking out of a descending triangle, but with a P/E near 430 and flat revenue he calls it a chart trade, not a fundamentals trade.
James G filmed his 28 October 2026 update on a beach in a tropical storm. The market message was calmer than the weather: take small profits, set levels in advance, and let the orders do the work.
Bank the profit first
His Bitcoin trade had been about $2,000 in profit the day before, then pulled back. With it still around $800 up, he closed it. His reason was the news backdrop: until the Iran situation blows over, he said, he likes "just taking profits now".
The new Bitcoin levels
Bitcoin was trading near $80,700. On the weekly chart it was still overbought but pulling back and trying to turn up, and both of the indicator bots he uses were showing a buy. On the daily chart he marked a fresh support at $79,200.
- Short-term long: entry at 79,200, target at the big resistance around 86,600. He put the risk to reward at about 15 times (risking roughly $475 to make about $7,400 on the size he showed).
- Deeper orders: one at 77,000 and the "safer trade" at the main support near 75,000.
- Short-term context: the 4-hour chart had broken out to 81,200 before pulling back, and the liquidation heat map showed a lot of liquidity sitting around 79,000.
Tesla: great chart, stretched numbers
Tesla had rebounded about 36% from its recent lows in five or six weeks and was breaking out of a descending triangle, a pattern that builds pressure before a move. James said Tesla "can run here".
He was just as clear about the risk. He put Tesla's P/E ratio at around 430, noted that revenue has been roughly flat for three to four years while profits fell, and said the story is about robotaxis. His advice was to be a little cautious. His own biggest positions remain Google, Nvidia and Amazon.
Google into earnings
Google, his largest holding, was up about 1.2% after hours on a report that OpenAI plans to buy Google's AI chips, with earnings due the same day. He noted it was holding support while oversold on both the weekly and daily charts.
Asking the AIs
James also showed that the Ask the AIs feature now works in his chat: members can ask the top Clash of AIs models about any market. Free users get one ask per day and members get ten. On that morning the AIs leaned short on Ethereum, while GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra had gone long on Solana.
Great chart. Tesla's P/E says 430 years.
The key moment in under a minute. More on the shorts feed.
